- Served as co-editor for ASTM 1992 Special Technical Publication entitled Rock for Erosion Control.
- Served and continues to serve as reviewer for numerous professional publications submitted for publication in the Environmental and Engineering Geoscience Journal of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists and the Geological Society of America.
- Served and continues to serve as reviewer for various technical books/publications related to the use of rock as aggregate, armor stone, riprap and miscellaneous uses.
- Reviews, proposes and provides guidance to various organizations on the development of rock mechanics tests / testing for determination of various rock properties.
- Served as international reviewer for "The Rock Manual. The use of rock in hydraulic engineering (second edition). C683, CIRIA, London (2006)." Also developed a formula for determination of precise weathering characteristics of any site in the world for prediction of service-life of any type of rock used as a construction material. This formula was published in The Rock Manual by CIRIA.
